The idea behind this piece was to show a sweet moment between a young child and a horse. On a deeper level, it depicts a touching sense of trust, innocence and gentleness.

Inspired by the thoughtful gaze of the black bear. This close up portrait gives one the feeling of being watched.

This guy is one of my favorites. There's a great soul behind those eyes.

Some horses trotted up to a fence one day as I passed by. I tried to capture one of them here...the wind caught his mane like a slow motion scene in a movie...
